About Nicole Zarr & Associates

Nicole Zarr & Associates is a Houston-based interior design firm with an eye for residential interior spaces. Formerly known as Triangle Interiors, the firm is led by Nicole Domercq Zarr who took over the business from her beloved mother, Paulette Domercq, in 1997. Nicole and her associates are committed to reflecting their clients’ lifestyles and personalities into each space, adhering to a design principle of current but classic with a knack for layering pattern and color. The firm also is known for its contemporary translations of classic French and English interiors featuring modern touches infused with old world elements. Projects range from South Texas ranches to Horseshoe Bay lakehouses, penthouses to yachts, and single rooms to ground-up new constructions, with each project remaining unique – fabrics are never duplicated and styles are never reproduced. Guided by the philosophy that ‘Life is short. Make it beautiful’, Nicole and her associates work hard not only to create beautiful, livable spaces for their clients but also to make the creative process fun and enjoyable for everyone involved, often resulting in lifelong clients and friends.

About Nicole

A native Houstonian, Nicole Domercq Zarr grew up in the home of an interior designer where evolving wallpaper patterns and furniture arrangements were the norm. Upon her mother’s unexpected death in 1997, Nicole took over the firm Triangle Interiors – now Nicole Zarr & Associates - applying her business savvy, inherent sense of color and style, and passion for shopping to make each client’s house a home. In 2019, after 22 years in the business, Nicole rebranded the firm as Nicole Zarr & Associates to put the growing firm under her name and meet her clients’ needs for additional services beyond traditional interior design. These services - including home styling, construction consulting, and art consulting - are a natural extension of her design principle and passion for living beautifully.

Nicole’s work has been published in "Cote d’Texas", "Segreto", and multiple Meredith Corporation publications including "Country French Magazine" and "Beautiful Bedrooms and Baths". Nicole was named a Leader in Design by the Houston Design Center and a Rising Star by the Decorative Center of Houston.
